ABOUT ROBO CLUB
To create awareness among students on Latest Innovations and Emerging Technologies, few clubs have been initiated in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. As a part of that, Robotic Club is initiated. The aim of this club is to excel the students in multi-disciplinary technologies. Here student teams must design, build and programming a robot to participate in various Robotic Competitions to be conducted by various organizations in India. These club activities will help to develop professional engineering skills, leader ship skills and communication skills among the students.
OBJECTIVES OF CLUB
- Learn the Robot components
- Know the sensors and transducers
- Analyze the various actuators for various applications
- Assemble a Robot with Lego’s
- Identify the sensors for various purposes
- Write the program to run the Robot
- Involve in course projects with multi-disciplinary concepts
- Participate in various competitions to be held all over India to excel in this area
- Differentiate various assembly languages
