Mechanics of Solids Lab

The objectives of mechanics of solids lab is determine the various properties of materials such as stresses against compression, tension, shear and bending, hardness, impact strength, stiffness, young modulus, etc. and select the suitable material for the required purpose.mos lab demonstrating the basic principles of engg mechanics, mechanics of solids and design of machine members to students through a serious of experiments.

Major equipments of mos lab: universal testing machine, torsion testing machine, impact testing machine, Brinell hardness testing machine, rockiness hardness testing machine.
