Career Guidance Cell (CGC)
The Career Guidance Cell counsels students in matters of their career related issues and disseminating information on various career options. CGC is an integral part of the college and has been organizing different activities for the benefit of the students.
To conduct a survey among students on their career options
To provide information about various career options available to the students
To organize programmes to create awareness about the importance of higher studies in India and Abroad
To organize awareness programmes on CAT, TOEFL, GRE etc.
To create awareness about self employment and entrepreneurship options
To provide information regarding various courses of study and competitive exams
To provide general career counseling

“An Awareness Program on Higher Education in USA” was organized on 19th July 2016. The speaker was Tze Teck Sim, International Admission Counselor, SUNY.
association with The Princeton Review - Manya conducted a program on "Awareness Program on Graduate Record Examinations (GRE)" on 10th September 2016, at Block II, Faraday Hall. Mr. Jeevan Sree Ram, Faculty Advisor & Mr. Anvesh, Manager of Princeton Review, Warangal addressed the students aspiring for higher education abroad.
An "Interaction of students with David Colbert" was conducted for the students who are willing for higher education in USA on 1st October 2016.
"An Expert Talk on Management Education in USA" was organized on 29th December 2016 at Faraday Hall. Ms. Lizzie Wahab, Associate Vice President, Enrollment Management and Program Development at the University of New Haven (UNH) addressed the students and interacted with them explaining in detail the processes of admission and scholarships. She encouraged students to opt for managerial courses as there is a need for techno managers.
A invited talk on “Recent advances in Computer Science Engineering” was organized. Dr. Haim Leukowitz, Chair, Computer Science & Engineering, Umass Lowell addressed the students and made them aware of the importance of programming.
Prof. Ronald S. Harichandran, Dean, College of Engineering Umass Lowell visited the campus & delivered a lecture on “Entrepreneurship Development & Implementation of it in the Curriculum” on 6th Jan 2017 at CSE Seminar Hall.
A program was conducted by IDP- IELTS of Hyderabad branch in the campus. Mr. Anil, IDP Manager & Mr. C. Santhosh, Manager of Abhiyaas, Warangal had given a brief explanation of IELTS exam pattern on 18th Jan 2017 in Faraday Hall, Block II. Mr Anil briefly explained the pattern and the difference between IDP and British Council and provided competitive book material of IELTS to the students. The program ended with queries.
