Center for Entrepreneurship Development (CED) is a special interest group at SREC which is responsible for activities and initiatives to instill and promote the spirit of entrepreneurship among the SREC student community as well as the youth of Warangal.
The CED@SREC is actively engaged in entrepreneurial activities. They mentor the incubatees and encourage innovation and start-up activities. Since 2014, the team has been offering guidance and assistance to young aspiring entrepreneurs. Based on the increasing demand for the mentoring and incubation, SREC has constructed a Technology Incubation Centre with a built up space of 26,430 sq ft., with the provision of design thinking studio, prototyping facility, conference rooms, meetings rooms, training rooms, cafeteria, co-working space and other state-of- the-art amenities.
It has been organizing weekly innovation challenges, entrepreneurship awareness camps, e-week, FDPs, ideation fests, tinker camps, entrepreneurship speaker series, field trips and an annual international entrepreneurship conference.
The entrepreneurial teams from the local community with potentially viable ideas are being offered workspace and mentoring support. Currently 35 incubatees are working in the incubation centre. These incubatees have access to physical prototyping facilities consisting power tools, 3D printers, laser cutter, 3D scanners and latest design software’s to build small and medium-sized physical and functional models.
These skills are just as relevant for success in established enterprises as they are in start-ups; SREC students are better prepared to become effective team members and managers and can better support their employers as innovators.

To promote rural entrepreneurship and educating the rural business folk in different business related aspects.
To develop and introduce curriculum and entrepreneurship development along with academic programs.
To guide and assist prospective entrepreneurs on various aspects such as project report preparation, obtaining project approvals, loan and other facilities from the related agencies.
To act as regional information center on entrepreneurship development opportunities
To conduct the skill development training programs leading to self-wage employment.
To organize idea generation fests periodically.
To arrange visits to industries for prospective entrepreneurs
To promote linkages with Industries and other organizations that is engaged in promoting Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs)
To conduct market research for identifying Entrepreneurial opportunities.
To organize guest lectures by well known entrepreneurs.
